01Exporting materials around the world for over 40 years

Our Overseas Business Division was established in 1983.Since then, we have been exporting ship interior materials to overseas shipyards and trading companies. Export destinations include Taiwan, Sri Lanka, China, Singapore and Malaysia, among others. In particular, we have done business with Taiwan for more than 39 years and with Sri Lanka since 2007.

02Accommodating every need

We do construction work on approximately 300 vessels a year. It is rare to find a ship interior decoration company with such a large number of construction projects anywhere in the world. We are able to procure high quality products at reasonable prices by dealing directly with not only Japanese and Asian manufacturers but also European manufacturers. We are able to meet all material needs for ship interiors and export the same high-quality materials that are used in Japan.

03Technical support contributing to better construction quality

We can provide more than just materials. We can also help you to formulate interior plans that comply with the rules of each country, to select materials, and to manage construction. We contribute to better construction quality by offering our know-how, which has supported the Japanese shipbuilding industry, such as by recommending construction methods, improving work procedures, introducing efficient tools, and advising on management methods. In the future, NSS will further develop human resources who can work overseas and will promote a scheme that provides total support from planning to construction. The goal of the Overseas Business Division is to get those in the shipbuilding industry worldwide talking about how much better the quality becomes when NSS is involved.
